This summer, the Amalfi Coast is preparing to receive more than 5 million visitors, and Uber has decided to elevate the travel experience with a series of products designed so that sophisticated explorers can 'Go Anywhere'. Imagine sliding through this Italian paradise by land, sea or air, enjoying a journey that defines true luxury.

Unforgettable Experiences with Uber

Uber Copter is the ultimate expression of elegance and comfort, allowing travellers to book in advance a private helicopter transfer between Sorrento and Capri, directly from the Uber app. From an exclusive heliport in Sorrento, you will be transported with a select group of up to 6 people in a double-engine helicopter, enjoying a trip that redefines luxury for only €250 per person. Every detail, from the transfers to and from the helicopter, is carefully orchestrated to offer you an unforgettable day in Capri.

For those who want to immerse themselves in the iconic blue waters of the coast, Uber Boat offers a sophisticated and impeccable maritime experience. Embarkate from the Sorrento Marina on an elegant Italian boat Gozzo 35, designed to accommodate 12 people. For four hours, you will savour the coast while a personal captain guides you, accompanied by delicious appetisers and complimentary drinks.

Both services, Uber Copter and Uber Boat, will be available to book from any corner of Italy from Wednesday, June 25, with a minimum of 48 hours in advance. These exquisite services will make their debut every Saturday and Sunday from July 26 to August 24.

As a final touch, Uber deploys its Uber Reserve scheduled travel product along the Amalfi Coast. Imagine having the freedom to book your transfers in advance, allowing you to enjoy the serenity and glamour of this destination without the crowds, in what promises to be one of the most vibrant summers thanks to international flights at Salerno Airport.

With these new travel offers, Uber responds to the growing demand for luxury experiences in the most dazzling tourist spots in Italy. Data for the summer of 2024 reveal a 25% increase in demand for Uber mobility services from international customers in iconic places such as Rome, Lake Como and the Amalfi Coast. More than 400,000 international travellers enjoyed the Uber app in Italy last summer, and 60,000 of them were seduced by the Amalfi Coast.

The availability of Uber Copter and Uber Boat will be limited and will be subject to weather conditions. Private flights between Sorrento and Capri are available for €1500, with a maximum capacity of 6 people or €250 per person.
